UC-win/Road

3D real-time Visual Simulation for Transport

Launched in 2000 by the Japanese company Forum 8 (www.forum8.com) UC-win/Road has been rewarded several times in Japan for its excellence in virtual reality. This software is widely distributed and used, especially in Asia.
It simulates the implementation of a road infrastructure in a given environment, allowing to study its impacts and providing a realistic communication medium for your projects.

HELP WITH SITE DEVELOPMENT

• Simulation based on accurate topographic data: satellite data and aerial views
• Virtual implementation of an infrastructure in its real environmental and geographical context
• Evaluation of design choices, of shape and colour structures
•Possibility to visualize structures from different angles (top-down views, views sideways etc.)

IMPACT STUDY

•Examination of the consequences of a project implementation on traffic
• Evaluation of its visual impact on the environment
• Assessment of the continuity and attractiveness of the infrastructure layout according to various parameters: travel speed of vehicles, various surrounding infrastructures, traffic lights configuration, pedestrians, weather conditions etc.
• It enables a comparative analysis of the suggested solutions, of the intended changes and evolutions.

• Evaluation of the visibility and design of traffic signs and displays

COMMUNICATION

• A powerful communication medium making discussions around your project easy.
• Creation of  video clips that are easily viewed
• The extensive library of elements, at your disposal enables you to obtain an accurate simulation of your project (characters, textures, vegetation, vehicles, etc. )

UC-win/Road can simulate all types of infrastructures:

• roads (urban areas, intersections, highways, etc.)

• railways (train, tram, underground)

• civil-engineering structures (bridges, tunnels etc.)
